I'm sitting in the Dining Room crying. I'm petting and comforting my cat, who is obviously very sick and in pain (it appears to be Congestive Heart Failure). We have a vet's appointment today at 3:30 PM. It's only a little after 7:45 AM. I honestly don't think she'll make it to then. There are no open vets right now. I kind of hope that she dies before 3:30. I mean that in a way that I can't stand to see her in so much pain. That way, she'll die at home, with me near, and in her favorite bed. If I could, I would put her to sleep myself, to take away her pain and suffering. It's discomforting that she could stop breathing and pass away at any moment. Even if she does make it to the appointment, she will most likely have to be put down. That way, both my mom and I could be at her side when she dies.

It's comforting that she soon won't be in pain anymore. Then there's us owners left to grieve. God bless my kitty, and please take good care of her, and comfort those left behind. Amen.

EDIT:   My cat might live for a little while longer. We took her to the vet, and found that she's literally full of s*** (pardon my language).

My cat's intestines are blocked up. It's treatable. I'm glad it's not cancer, or anything like that. We have to give her ssomething that will make her poop. If that doesn't work, we'll have to turn to surgery.
